ALPHA

Alpha has been running in our parish since 2018. Alpha is a tool for evangelisation that creates a space where people are excited to bring their friends for a conversation about Jesus.

Alpha is just the beginning. Once guests experience Alpha, they understand who Jesus is and can start to explore their relationship with him.

'We invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ, or at least an openness to letting Jesus encounter you.

The Lord abides in those who abide in Him; whenever we take a step towards Jesus, we come to realise that He is already there, waiting for us with open arms.' Pope Francis - Evangelii Gaudium #3

Come and See!!! Please contact the Parish Office for more information.

CHILDREN & FAMILIES

The Children and Families Team have grown a vibrant family life where parents and children have the chance to engage in their faith alongside each other. We hope to develop strong relationships with parents and their children at the schools connected to the parish and give them opportunities to deepen their faith. We hope that our activities and programs (like the sacramental program) will give families an avenue into parish life. As our parish has a very diverse and strong cultural community each year we Celebrate with a Multi-cultural Mass.

CHILDREN & FAMILIES: BUILDING OUR COMMUNITY

At the heart of our parish goals lies a vibrant vision: creating a space where children and families flourish together. We embrace the ‘joyful chaos of family life’ – from cheerful chatter to spontaneous movement – because these are the sounds and sights of a living, growing faith community.

Youth

KIDS CLUB: MAKING SUNDAY SPECIAL

Our Kids Club transforms Sunday Mass into an enriching experience for the whole family. When you feel your child is ready, they can join our dedicated team of certified leaders (all with current Blue Cards and Police Clearances) in the Parish Centre. Here, they'll discover the Word of God through age-appropriate activities and discussions, while you participate in the main service knowing they're in safe, caring hands.

ENCOUNTER CATHOLIC KIDS

Faith Through Fun Imagine a school holiday where faith and fun unite! Our Encounter Catholic Kids program is a dynamic one-day adventure designed specifically for primary school children. Recently, Regents Park Catholic Parish partnered with Ministry Brisbane to host an unforgettable event where children:

  • Forged new friendships through exciting playground games
  • Expressed their creativity through meaningful craft activities
  • Deepened their connection with Jesus through engaging, age-appropriate activities.

The program creates a natural bridge between playful exploration and spiritual growth, helping children develop their most important friendship – with Jesus – in an environment that sparkles with energy and joy.
